Thermo King spotlights fleet lifecycle management at TMC 2026
MINNEAPOLIS, March 20, 2026 – Thermo King®, a leader in sustainable transport temperature control solutions and a strategic brand of global climate innovator Trane Technologies® (NYSE: TT), showcased its expanding portfolio of fleet lifecycle management solutions at the TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, held March 16-19 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Thermo King leveraged the premier technical showcase to spotlight solutions that help optimize fleet performance, reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) and keep transport climate control equipment running at peak performance throughout its entire lifecycle. At Booth #1219, the company demonstrated how connected tools, service programs and hybrid technology work together to solve complex challenges and drive increased profitability and efficiency for customers.

At the booth: Fleet lifecycle management in action
Attendees experienced how Thermo King's integrated offerings support long-term fleet performance and budget optimization.
The Precedent® S-750i hybrid trailer transport refrigeration unit (TRU) was featured as a reliable, fuel-efficient solution that maintains consistent performance.
Live demos of TracKing® telematics provided real-time cargo traceability and asset monitoring insights, highlighting how smart telematics can strengthen fleet operations.
The Thermo King Online Parts Store was featured as a live demonstration, highlighting how simplified parts ordering can enhance service planning and keep fleets running efficiently. Booth visitors browsed the store firsthand, seeing how simple it is to access genuine parts and place orders 24/7 through an authorized Thermo King dealer.
Thermo King also highlighted the Extended Lifecycle Program, part of its fleet lifecycle management portfolio, which provides fleets with options to extend the service life of existing Thermo King units or purchase OEM-certified refurbished equipment through authorized dealers. Each qualifying unit undergoes validated refurbishment using genuine Thermo King parts.
Thermo King technology was also featured beyond its own booth. Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc. displayed a 2026 NRR chassis equipped with a Thermo King T-690 straight truck TRU and a special in-dash controller installation at Booth #751.
Industry engagement and expert perspectives at TMC 2026
Thermo King contributed to several TMC technical sessions focused on decarbonization and future truck architecture in refrigerated transport. Matt Srnec, principal engineer of electrification at Thermo King Americas, participated in study groups and panel discussions addressing ePTO development, transport refrigeration energy optimization, updates to reefer shore power guidelines and evolving electrical standards.
During the event, Thermo King also received a 2026 HDT Top 20 Product award from Heavy Duty Trucking™ for its TracKing® Smart Trailer telematics system, recognizing its ability to deliver real-time trailer and refrigeration insights that improve fleet visibility and operational performance.
