Trane Technologies acquires Thermo King Midwest, a top 10 Thermo King dealer in North America
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., September 8, 2026 – Global climate innovator Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT) and its Thermo King® brand, a leader in sustainable transport temperature control solutions, completed the acquisition of Thermo King Midwest, one of the leading sellers of Thermo King units across the Midwest and a Top 10 Thermo King dealer in North America.
Thermo King Midwest has been an exclusive dealer of Thermo King equipment for nearly 70 years, offering sales, installation and after-sales service of refrigeration units, accessories, maintenance contracts and telematics solutions.
The dealership, which consists of approximately 150 employees across nine full-service locations in Indiana, Missouri and Ohio, joins Trane Technologies’ Thermo King business in the Americas and will continue to serve its existing markets as a company-owned dealership.
