TCH-112 Heating Units for Tank Containers

Klinge TCH112 Right no Background

Maintain proper cargo temperature in cold weather

For some liquid cargos, maintaining warmth is just as critical as refrigeration. TCR-112 protects product quality and keeps supply chains moving in winter conditions.

Precise Heating for Tank Containers

The TCH-112 Tank Container Heating Unit delivers up to 12 kW of heating capacity to maintain consistent cargo temperatures during transport. Precise electronic controls help protect sensitive products from freezing, crystallization or viscosity changes.

Simple Tank Container Integration

The system pumps heat transfer fluid through the tank's existing steam coils or wrap-around heating plates. Shippers can add efficient, uniform heat distribution without modifying the tank container itself.

Combined Control for Tank Heating and Cooling

TCH-112 heating is managed through the same cutting-edge control technology as the TCR-109, TCR-110, and TCR-111 refrigeration units. Compact control box design limits space requirements. End-mounting of the control box provides easy technician access to major components, even when the container is stacked or loaded onto a shipping vessel.

Benefits

Crystallization is the (natural or artificial) process by which a solid forms in laboratory.

Protect Sensitive Cargo

Maintain product quality by preventing freezing, crystallization, and temperature-related degradation of pharmaceuticals, food products, specialty chemicals, and other temperature-sensitive liquids.

Keep Operations Moving Year-Round

Move products even when temperatures drop. Limit cold-weather shipping delays that interrupt production and cash flow. Adding a tank container heating unit protects temperature-sensitive cargo during harsh winter weather.

Frequently Asked Questions about 12 kW Tank Container Heating Units

A tank container heating unit is a system that keeps tank containers warm during cold weather to keep temperature-sensitive cargo from becoming waste.

Klinge Tank Container Heater units circulate heat transfer fluid through the tank container's existing steam coils or wrap-around heating plates. This provides even, controlled heating that helps maintain the desired cargo temperature throughout transport.

Heating units are commonly used to transport temperature-sensitive liquid cargo such as specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical ingredients, food products, edible oils, chocolate, wine, syrups, and other products that can freeze, crystallize, or become too viscous in cold temperatures.

Tank container heating is commonly used in:

  • Chemical manufacturing
  • Pharmaceutical transportation
  • Food and beverage production
  • Specialty industrial materials
  • Bulk liquid logistics
