Thermo King’s “Know Your Challenges” Advertisement recognized by Fleet Owner Magazine
Believability, attention getting and informative. Three attributes that define all good advertisements and should always be the goal of marketing teams. And according to Fleet Owner magazine, Thermo King’s North America marketing team hit the nail on the head.
“We were excited to win this award for the second straight year,” said Lisa Talbot, Marketing leader for Thermo King North America. “We strive to create impactful advertisements that will yield results so when confirmation comes directly from the readers of a top tier industry publication, it feels good. More importantly, it helps direct us for future ad development.”
Fleet Owner conducted a study where they surveyed approximately 100 readers of their May 2019 issue to get feedback on the ads contained within that issue. Of the 31 print ads in the issue, the Thermo King "Know Your Challenges" ad achieved the highest ‘Believable’ score and outstanding ‘Attention-getting’ and ‘Informative’ scores.
In fact, Thermo King’s ad scored well above average in all three categories. Readers also shared comments on what caught their attention in the ad and if they were enticed to take action.
“Getting our customers’ attention is great but seeing how many follow-up with action – either requesting additional information, visiting our website, sharing with others, or ultimately purchasing our products or services, is the true indicator of advertisement success and our ultimate goal,” said Lisa.
