The S-Series was the first reefer unit in the refrigerated transportation industry to achieve Evergreen CARB and EPA Tier 4 engine compliance. More than 10 years later, it's still a proven solution that meets the strictest emission regulations without modifications like a diesel particulate filter (DPF).

By purchasing an Evergreen CARB compliant unit, customers can rest assured that they are meeting the strictest Particulate Matter, NOx regulations, as well as maximizing their fuel usage. Since the Precedent S-Series reefer unit launched in 2013, customers have avoided more than 6 million metric tons of CO2 emissions. This saves the equivalent emissions of 600 million gallons of diesel fuel.
