list. We lower costs by saving time and reducing weight. We improve energy
efficiency, protect goods from spoilage, and reduce maintenance. And when we
bring out new models and products, customer profitability is the first design
criterion.
- Many of our units feature extended maintenance intervals. For our large fleet customers, increasing the maintenance interval by even a few thousand miles can mean enormous cost savings and improvements in utilization and up-time.
- Controls on truck and trailer units keep track of temperatures to reduce spoiled shipments, even offering freeze protection safeguards. Many have wireless data transmission to home office computers and the ability to pre-cool the unit before picking up cargo – without stopping the trailer.
- Vehicle-powered units are remarkably lightweight, allowing for lower cost of operation.
- Bus temperature control units feature brushless motors that dramatically reduce maintenance costs. Many bus units control operating and maintenance costs by monitoring temperatures and pressures while running, even downloading data to a PC. Screw compressors vibrate less, reducing the cost of mount and drive kits. They're also programmable to save fuel.
- Thermo King container refrigeration units offer an option that controls the atmosphere inside the container to provide exceptional freshness and shelf life even after weeks at sea. We have the most energy efficient machines in the world, which in turn makes them the most environmentally friendly.
