*note: when entering multiple serial numbers, a maximum of 1,000 serial numbers can be entered at one time, and must be separated with a comma. ( example: 1234567890,0987654321,1122334455)

**note: units where the serial number is invalid or there is no engine information will return no data.

***note: if you receive a message that Manual Inspection is Required, this means there was insufficient information available for this unit and it requires someone to open the doors to the unit and visually validate the information from the engine's label

To get multiple serial numbers from a spreadsheet to “comma separated format”:

1. Highlight all the Thermo King unit serial numbers from your spreadsheet
2. Copy to a word processing program document by “paste Special” and only pasting values
3. Highlight all serial numbers in word processing program, and hit “Ctrl” + “F” at the same time
4. Fill in the find with “^p” (That’s Shift + 6, and then the letter “p”)
5. Then fill in the replace with a comma (“,”)
6. Copy all serial numbers into the lookup application
7. Then click “Export to excel”

If you are using Excel 2007, there is a known security dialogue prompt when exporting data to excel. Simply click 'Yes' and your data will be displayed as expected.
